No, we do not cut down live trees for our firewood; we only use trees that have already fallen. If you have a tree that you feel needs to be removed, we recommend you contact Hernandez Tree Removal Service (https://hernandeztreeservicesva.com/) or ER Tree Services (https://ertreeservicesva.com/).

Generally, no, we do not; we are not a licensed tree removal company. If a tree has branches that interfere with your power lines, phone line, or home, we usually cannot assist, and we recommend one of the service providers described earlier. If the fallen tree is in an open space, it will depend on the size of the tree, as not all equipment can process extremely large trees.

Generally, it takes about 6 months. For harder woods like maple or oak, it can take up to a year for the wood to try completely. Factors like the diameter of the log, the amount of sunlight, ambient temperature, and moisture in the environment affect the length of time. We only provide firewood we are confident is ready to be used upon delivery and produces minimal smoke. Wood that is too saturated will smolder and produce too much smoke that is particularly harmful.
